extremely clean, hygienic hostel. pictures are very accurate it's an aesthetic vintage vibe, i loved the decor so much ! bathrooms never had an odor and there's windows inside to ensure proper ventilation. strong WiFi and works in all areas of the hostel. the stairs to get to the top bunk was very easy / it wasn't a ladder but felt like actual stairs so it was more comfortable to climb up and down. one outlet and lamp inside every bed. curtains that covered the entire area for privacy. there was a balcony en-suite . shower water is hot and good pressure. the locker is inside your bed and it fit my 18 kilo 55L Osprey backpack. the couches in the dorm room are very comfortable, and there's also two AirCons in the room. the receptionists were extremely friendly, thoughtful, and kind. i loved the location is was 10 minute walk from chinatown, near all major bus stops and i felt very safe walking alone at night in this area. laundry was 80baht for 1.5 kilo it takes 24hours. you can get express laundry in 4hours for 150baht i think. the rooms were very very quiet and all guests were respectful. stayed here a week and anytime i return to bangkok i will be only staying here.

The welcome at this hostel was very gracious and friendly, unlike at Don Muang Airport - in particular certain officious baggage “screeners” there at the airport, who are incredibly anal, domineering and authoritarian. Feel free to talk back at airport staff! I didn’t have any issues with my bunk at Time Sabai, although personally I would’ve preferred a harder mattress. The property is a one minute walk from the heart of Bangkok’s Chinatown, and it’s also around the corner from a vegetarian eatery (Punsuk Vegetarian) run by some older women. I recommend the à la carte items. The MRT metro system is also easily accessible and there are three 7-11 convenience stores close by. Coffee shops abound in the vicinity - some offering either almond milk or oat milk - and there’s also “So Vegan” in the community mall. There’s another local dedicated vegetarian restaurant in Chinatown itself. The facilities are decent and clean, and the bath/restroom space is nicely separated off from the sleeping part of the dorm I stayed in. Overall, I loved staying here. It was very tranquil, and thankfully not a boozy “party” hostel.

On the staff, I would give them 20/10, I arrived off a 12 bus ride at 6am and was able to check in! My bed was already available and I was able to check in and get a few hours of sleep I had missed and still enjoy the day. It’s a great location in the heart of chinatown on a fairly quiet street, though you’re only a few minute walk away from bustling busy chinatown and all the food you can eat, and about a 20 minute walk from the giant mall on the east side of town, and about a 40 minute walk from KhaoSan road. Very clean and welcoming downstairs and in the dorm. The beds are very clean and comfy and private, with your own locker next to your bed you can easily access. Bathroom was very cute and clean.

Nice stuff; possible to pay by card (with 3% commission); free water, coffee and tea; a small fridge to use; clean; beds are comfortable; good wifi; spacious locker with key; lamp and plug in the bed (locker was also in the bed, very convenient for me; many people complained about it, but it was really handy). Spacious and really nice rooms with balcony; 15 min walk to china town; 30 min walk to the center; bus that goes to the palace area (behind the palace) no 53 has a stop in front of the hostel, across the street; When it comes back, the stop is right in front of the hostel. 3 min walk to 7eleven; 10 min walk to train station (the one for slow trains); 12 min walk to metro blue line.

I am so confused, I feel like I am staying in some bohemian boutique hotel, not in a less than $10 per night hostel! It is beautiful, spotless, the lobby, rooms and decks all have lovely little sitting areas (climb all the way up to the one on the roof!). Also very secure: doors to the rooms require keycard entry and open and close automatically. And this place features the most comfortable bed and best water pressure I’ve experienced during my 8 weeks in Thailand. Lastly, FREE WATER—one of my most appreciated amenities among hostels here that is unfortunately not always a given! What a beautiful, peaceful oasis (perfectly located) in the heart of Bangkok :)
